Before you go

Plan your visit: practical questions answered

After Grishneshwar and Ellora we stayed in Parli. The next morning we visited Ambajogai, then Parli Vaijnath and Aundha Nagnath, returning to the same Parli hotel. Public-transport information is separately sourced from the district administration.

Location
Parli Vaijnath, Beed district, Maharashtra.
Rail access
The district administration lists a railway station at Parli; check services for your travel date.
Road access
The district administration lists State Transport bus access. Confirm the final connection and return service before travelling.
Our circuit
Two nights at the same Parli hotel: one after Ellora, and another after Ambajogai, Parli Vaijnath and Aundha Nagnath. Hotel name not yet recorded.

How can I reach Parli Vaijnath without a private car?

The district administration identifies rail access at Parli and State Transport buses as options. Check the actual train or bus and the station-to-temple transfer for your date; this is arrival guidance, not a current timetable. Our own family used a private car with a driver.

Can I combine Parli Vaijnath with Aundha Nagnath?

We visited both on the same day after Ambajogai, performed Abhishek at both temples and returned to our Parli hotel. Maharashtra Tourism places Aundha roughly 118 km from Parli. That is a road-planning reference, not a driving-time estimate. Check your route and accommodation, and leave time for two separate darshan queues.

What should I confirm before visiting Parli?

Confirm temple opening and any ritual breaks, the walk and steps from your arrival point, sanctum access, and storage for belongings. We performed Abhishek but have not established its exact name, payment or queue duration. We have not recorded locker details here. Those cannot be inferred from our photographs or from another temple’s rules.

Why we visited

We visited Parli Vaijnath as part of the Jyotirlinga circuit. We stayed in Parli after Ellora, visited Ambajogai and Parli Vaijnath the next morning, continued to Aundha Nagnath and returned to the same hotel.

What our account records

First-hand journeyOur October 2026 experience

Parli Vaijnath was part of our Maharashtra road pilgrimage in October 2026. We travelled as two adults with daughters aged 5 and 8, in an Innova Crysta with a driver.

Our photographs record the courtyard and temple structure. A short clip from inside the shrine shows a flower-decorated Shivling, offerings and worshippers; our later recollection confirms that we performed Abhishek, though its exact name and charge remain unrecorded.

We stayed at the same Parli hotel for two nights. Between them we visited Ambajogai, performed Abhishek at Parli Vaijnath and then visited Aundha Nagnath for Abhishek. The hotel name, exact Parli queue duration and ritual payment are not recorded.

The wider circuit

First-hand journeyOur October 2026 experience

Our road pilgrimage started in Mumbai on 3 October. We remember the package as approximately nine days and eight nights; the final return date is unconfirmed. Alongside Parli, we visited Bhimashankar, Trimbakeshwar, Grishneshwar and Aundha Nagnath, with sacred stops and heritage visits at Ajanta and Ellora. We returned via Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and ultimately Mumbai.
